Our Mission

The mission of CCk’s Children’s Ministry is to make disciples. We do this by creating an environment where children become rooted in the Word and follow Jesus Christ.

One of Jesus’ last commands is found in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” We take this command very seriously. We believe that as you teach a child the Holy Scriptures from childhood, it will make them wise as adults.

“…That from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Tim 3:15).

To this end, we came up with the acrostic of ALIVE which means the following:

Adore God

Love one another

Instruction in the Word (we teach from the Word)

Virtuous lives (we show them how to lead virtuous lives)

Evangelize (we show them how to talk to their friends about Jesus)
